Donna Hay

I want to move to Australia! I have been pining for a trip Down Under for some time, but these photos from the new Donna Hay General Store make me want to up sticks and move there immediately! Everything just looks perfect! Her magazines make me happy but this store could just put me over the edge!

Oh and could someone explain why it takes so long to get her magazines here in the US? I am always two issues behind!

30 Rock and the Muppets

Very funny analysis of why 30 Rock is actually just a rip off of the Muppet Show by writer Brian Lynch. Read it here

Love these dresses from Toast. So simple and so pretty

July Magazines

I am barely through my April stash of magazines and the July editions are already streaming in! I cannot help but love these two covers in particular. I am a sucker for mini pies and a sucker for red white and blue so these just make me happy

Graduation Pops

I made these today for my sons graduation from preschool. They were pretty easy (although the hot weather did not help with the chocolate) and they turned out beautifully. I gave one to each of his 25 classmates and the kids loved them! A sweet treat for a sweet day.

and to my sweet sweet boy, Happy Graduation Day! I hope it is not the only one you have in your life!

Directions and all credit for the graduation pops goes to Bakerella. You can visit her blog here for all the directions on this and many other fabulous ideas.

Oh Wisconsin

My husband often speaks of moving to Wisconsin. He spent happy times there as a child and something pulls him back. It is beautiful there but I cannot help but think of the winters! This cabin, however, makes me think at least summers would be bliss!

More Swedish Crushes!

Seriously love these chairs from Wisteria. They are childrens chairs and they just look so well made. They may last more than one child! I love the Swedish vibe they have going on.

pretty disposable cutlery

I love these ice cream scoops. They are made of bamboo so they are earth friendly but they just look so cute. I would like to use them for Owens birthday and then stamp something on the handle to make them more personal. The utensils are also awesome and would also be great for an outdoor party!

All from Anthropologie

Oh Yes,

I can totally see my two children and me enjoying trips around the town on this little beaut!

Paper Boats

The universe is telling me something. I have seen these paper boats and hats in different places of late and I need them. Actually i need to learn to make them and then my world will be complete. I know it is not difficult but I tried origami once and I was absolutely abysmal at it. Hopefully this will be a walk in the park. The images below are just exquisite and I cannot stop looking at them.

Preschool graduation

I have seen lots of graduation events at various preschools around the country. I am not sure if my sons preschool is going down that road (and I am hoping for not as I find it a little silly) but I am ready to go if needed. I think I am going to take these treats on his final day. They are from the always wonderful Bakerella.

Coastal Living Magazine

I guess I am coming way late to this party but after being told to buy an issue a few months ago, I am truly smitten! I just bought the May issue and it is just pure eye candy. There are two homes in the issue that I could happily walk into and take up residence. Lots of inspiration and eye candy. It may be time for a subscription!

A few examples!
